Fascinating Taiwan - Day 4 [Ximenting 西門町]

西門町, 我来了!

Wow, such a dream come true. During my highschool era when I first starting to notice about Taiwan, (yea.. Thanks to F4!) all i know is that Ximenting is a must-visit place for teenagers! The most happening and ‘in’ shopping area as they claimed. But… we’ll see. =P

They served varieties of risotto here.

We don’t want risotto just yet. Looking for something else..

Thanks to a friend who brought us there, or else we will waste time looking for it. We were only allocated 1.5 hours here.

Address: Exit 6. No.8-1, Er Mei St., Wanhua District

 #4 No tables, just stools.

So, it’s either you grab a stool or you stand. Since we were still full from dinner, we bought a small bowl to share. Just to taste if it’s delicious as it’s claimed…

Errrk. Not to my liking. I don’t take pig intestines. And the smell were pretty off! My colleague doesnt like it either. And we had only few mouths then we.. we… we… threw the remaining away. Urgh. Feel so bad. But really cant take it. :(

As usual, it pretty crowded with tourists!

And the stuffs here were quite pricey compare to night markets. Ended up look see look see only. Not as happening as I thought but still crowded. Hmm, I prefer 夜市 better!

The white bittergourd juice was refreshing with bittersweet taste. 

Malaysia, Y U NO have white bittergourd juice?

Overall, I felt Ximenting is quite over-rated. No offence. It’s too commercialized and crowded with tourists hence the high pricing. But still, I am glad my dream came through. Ximenting checked!
